Sharanya and Carl Return to Inspire the Creative Minds of Tanglin

Thank you to Tanglin Alumni Carl M (2019 cohort) and Sharanya D (2019 cohort), who recently returned to inspire the next generation of Tanglin students through round-table discussions.

Carl spoke to Year 13 film students, sharing insights into his current pursuits at the University of Surrey as a Film Production and Broadcast Engineering major and his placement experience at Vivid Broadcast. He primarily delved into the nuances of a career in Live Television, highlighting its distinct differences from the film industry. Sharanya spoke to our IB Higher Level Music students about her career as a vocalist and time at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. She will be embarking on her solo career in New York soon, so be sure to look her up if you are there. We are incredibly fortunate to have many talented and accomplished Alumni returning and sharing about their various adventures since leaving Tanglin, paving the way for the next generation to feel inspired and empowered to pursue their dreams!
